Business Development Representative (BDR)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Business Development Representative to join a rapidly growing technology business operating within the fintech and payments space.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating new business opportunities and working within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You'll play a key role in driving outbound sales activity while working closely with experienced sales leaders to develop your skills and progress your career.
The position offers genuine long-term career development, with a clear pathway into an Account Executive role for high performers.
The Role
As a Business Development Representative, you'll be responsible for identifying prospective customers, generating qualified sales opportunities and supporting the continued growth of the business across the UK and European markets.

Working closely with the wider commercial team, you'll research target organisations, engage key decision-makers and qualify opportunities through a structured sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research and prospect target accounts across multiple industry sectors.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers through email, phone and LinkedIn outreach.
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities before handing them to the sales team.
- Qualify prospects using a structured sales methodology.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity.
- Collaborate with marketing to improve messaging and outbound campaigns.
- Share customer feedback, market insights and common objections to help shape future sales strategies.
- Contribute to a collaborative, fast-moving environment where ideas and initiative are encouraged.
About You

You'll ideally have:
- Around 1+ years' experience in a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative or outbound sales role, although strong candidates from similar backgrounds will also be considered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and building professional relationships.
- A resilient, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in technology, fintech or SaaS.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within B2B sales, SaaS or technology environments.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
- Experience using structured qualification frameworks such as MEDDIC or BANT.
