Business Development Representative – Leisure & Fitness Equipment

A market-leading manufacturer and designer of leisure and fitness equipment is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their growing team. Known for products that combine the latest technology with strategic design choices, the company has built a reputation for delivering high-quality, inclusive solutions to clients across the UK.

They are looking for a Business Development Representative to join their team. This role is focused on identifying and prospecting new business opportunities across the UK – building strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across local authorities, architects and leisure companies.

This is a hybrid opportunity for candidates commutable to Nottingham three days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities through a range of outbound & inbound sources including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, inbound marketing leads
  • Develop quality relationships with key stakeholders across local authorities, architect businesses and the leisure industry
  • Identify clients’ needs and add value to each conversation
  • Schedule sales meetings & presentations with senior members of the sales team
  • Actively promote the companies brand, products and values, playing a successful role in the growth of the business
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM system
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends & competitor activity

The Successful Candidate

  • 12+ months new business generation experience; previous BDR/SDR/tele-sales experience is ideal
  • Experience selling into local authorities, architects or the leisure space is not essential, but would be a plus
  • Commutable to Nottingham three days per week

Business Development Representative Package

  • Basic salary: up to £40,000
  • OTE: +£12,000
  • Laptop & mobile phone provided
  • Pension options
