Role: Business Development Representative

Salary: £28,000 + £10,000 OTE per annum

Workplace type: Hybrid, in office 3 days a week

Entry-level Role: No Experience Required

Our client is a leading UK contract furniture provider with over 40 years of experience, working with organisations across education, healthcare, hospitality, workplace and community sectors. With a strong reputation for quality, service and innovation, they're continuing to grow their sales team and are looking for an ambitious Business Development Representative to play a key role in their next stage of growth.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Business Development Representative, you'll play an important role in driving new business and building relationships with prospective customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and generating new business opportunities through research and outbound prospecting
  • Using calls, email and social selling to engage potential customers
  • Building and nurturing relationships with prospective clients
  • Qualifying prospects by understanding their needs, challenges, budgets and project timelines
  • Generating high-quality meetings and opportunities for the senior sales team
  • Developing a strong understanding of the company's products and solutions
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and managing your sales pipeline
  • Working towards agreed activity and performance targets
