Business Development Representative – SaaS Sales
📍 Hybrid – Farringdon, London (2 days in the office)
💰 Competitive package + Uncapped OTE
Are you naturally curious, confident starting conversations, and serious about building a career in sales? Our client, a global SaaS business serving PR and communications teams, is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to create new opportunities and book high-quality meetings for its new business team.
You’ll use phone, email, LinkedIn and video to engage a mixture of cold and warm prospects. Previous professional experience is desirable—ideally in Sales or another customer-facing role—but attitude and potential matter most. You’ll need to be organised, eager to learn and comfortable picking up the phone.
This role will:
- Generate new sales opportunities through targeted calls, emails and multi-channel outreach.
- Research prospective accounts and identify the right decision-makers to approach.
- Qualify prospects, understand their priorities and book meetings for the Business Development team.
- Follow up on marketing campaigns, events and warm leads alongside proactive cold outreach.
- Attend conferences and industry events to build relationships and represent the business.
- Manage and prioritise activity using Salesforce and sales-enablement tools.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
