What We’re Looking for…

The MULTS Business Development Representative is primarily responsible for merchandising to protect availability, driving visibility by activating POS & agreeing secondary points of interruption for display - with the focus on the core AG Barr brands as the key instore driver. On top of this, each BDR will have a defined territory of stores to develop model store status.

We are looking for Business Development Representative to drive increased sales of the various AG Barr brands in the key geographies UK wide. BDR’s will be educating the retailers about AG Barr core brands within a given territory of 60 Multiple & Discounter outlets, as well as merchandising our brands in the best way in each outlet to build maximum rate of sale. You will be creating impactful visibility to drive consumer awareness, building impulse purchase displays to increase value and to protect availability.

Your Responsibilities

As a BDR your responsibilities will include:

  • Presenting brands via a prepared presentation and securing a commitment to increase the share of shelf and local display
  • Completing admin for each completed call
  • Ability to manually handle the movement of large quantities of stock in compliance with our manual handling procedure
  • Physical placement or reorganisation of products into customers chilled equipment in the best position - Drink Now
  • Physical placement or reorganisation of products into customers ambient shelving in the best position - Take Home
  • Placement of point of sale (POS) at key points of interruption within the store
  • Activating local/regional agreed displays and identifying opportunities for additional points of interruption (POI)
  • Support & involvement in any additional project opportunities across Take Home &/or Drink Now within given territory

What You’ll Bring

  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to present information at a high standard internally, using account performance data and in store execution
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience merchandising FMCG brands and building impactful in-store displays
  • Experience working with retail outlets
  • Ability to move stock, restock chillers, and reorganise shelving
  • Willingness to travel across Scotland

Preferred:

  • Experience selling into multiple retailers, managing a territory of stores, or handling account-facing conversations with store managers and buyers
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Experience managing a multi-outlet territory independently
  • Flexibility to attend monthly team meetings that may require overnights
