This is one of the fastest-growing cyber organisations outside London, having raised over £2m they're now looking to grow out and build their commercial team. They've built software that automates the end-to-end cyber compliance process. It's critical for a business to be able to demonstrate that they're compliant and up to standard when it comes to their cyber security, but that alone can sometimes be a long and challenging process - this business's software makes it so much more simple and easier.
The Role
As a BDR, you'll be the engine behind the company's growth, generating qualified demos for the sales team through confident, high-volume outbound activity – this is a proper phone-first role.
- Outreach: You'll cold call, email and message prospects daily, with the phone as your primary tool – comfort with high call volumes is essential.
- Research: You'll identify the right businesses and contacts to target.
- Book Qualified Demos: You'll consistently hit weekly demo targets, explaining the value proposition clearly and confidently.

What Are They Looking For?
Essential:
- Confident on the Phone: You're comfortable making high volumes of cold calls daily, with confidence that never tips into arrogance.
- Phone-Heavy Sales Background: Experience in recruitment, energy sales, or any other high-volume, phone-based sales environment is ideal.
- Resilient and Competitive: You're driven by targets and bounce back fast from a knock-back – this role isn't for the easily discouraged.
Desirable:
- CRM Experience: Previous use of HubSpot or a similar CRM is a plus.
- Tech or Software Sales Exposure: Any background selling IT, software or SaaS products is a bonus, though not essential.
