Job Summary

FoodChain ID is a global leader in delivering operational and service excellence across our Digital Solutions division for food safety, quality, compliance, and supply chain management. We’re seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team and help fuel our sales pipeline through smart, innovative outreach strategies.

What You’ll Do

As a key driver of pipeline generation, you will:

  • Own and manage inbound MQLs across our Enterprise and Industry Solutions divisions, ensuring timely follow-up, effective qualification, and progression.
  • Engage prospects consultatively to understand their challenges, needs, and priorities, converting qualified interest into high-quality discovery calls.
  • Take ownership of your discovery call quota, with performance primarily measured against qualified discovery calls successfully held.
  • Supplement inbound activity with targeted outbound prospecting where required to achieve quota, using cold calling, social media, personalised email, and creative engagement tactics.
  • Align closely with Account Executives to co-ordinate prospecting activity and ensure a smooth handoff of qualified prospects.
  • Partner with Marketing to maximise conversion from campaigns and events, while providing feedback to continuously improve MQL quality and engagement.
  • Build and manage effective automated cadences and follow-up journeys to maximise speed-to-lead, engagement, and conversion.
  • Maintain accurate activity and lead data in Salesforce.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
