About the Company
Avolution is a 9x Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Architecture Tools, trusted by complex regulated enterprises for over 2 decades, with a global footprint across Europe, the Middle East, North America and APAC. We sell to organisations where transformation is a competitive imperative, AI readiness is urgent, and architectural clarity is non-negotiable. You will join a high-performing, enablement-led sales team, where the expectation is that you are set up properly to hit the number.
About the Role
Avolution is helping enterprise architecture teams move from static documentation to a practice that drives real decisions, and giving complex regulated enterprises the architectural depth to govern AI as they adopt it. This is an outbound role created to open the doors that shift is opening.
Mature architecture functions are underserved by incumbent tools, several of which are mid-acquisition and losing focus on their customers. That is opening a displacement motion with real tailwind. AI governance is now a live problem in every large regulated organisation, which widens the ground you prospect into beyond the traditional EA budget.
You will generate outbound pipeline for our EMEA Account Executives. You will build your own target lists from our ICP and buyer personas, run the outreach, and set meetings with prospects who have a problem worth an AE’s time. This is a top-of-funnel role. You will surface the initial pain and the early signals that a real opportunity exists, then hand the conversation to an AE who owns the full qualification and the deal.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Responsibilities
- Build your own target account and contact lists from our ICP and buyer personas, using ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and your own research
- Run outbound prospecting across phone, email, and LinkedIn, at the volume and consistency the target demands
- Use AI and automation to research accounts faster, build and scale campaigns, and sharpen your targeting
- Hold credible first conversations with senior stakeholders, surface an initial business pain, and test the early indicators that an opportunity is real
- Set meetings for EMEA Account Executives and brief them properly on what you have found
- Build, run, and refine multichannel sequences in Outreach
- Keep Salesforce accurate and current, including the account intelligence AEs need
- Work with the AE team on account prioritisation and territory coverage
- Represent Avolution in person at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
About You
- At least 18 months in a dedicated outbound BDR or SDR role in B2B software, with a track record of hitting an outbound number
- Formal sales training and a working prospecting methodology, rather than volume alone
- Confident cold caller, comfortable holding a business conversation with senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to build target lists from an ICP and persona definition without being handed an account list
- Strong written outreach, personalised from real research
- Practical experience using AI and automation within an outbound workflow, for example, account research, list building, campaign build, message drafting, or early qualification, and the judgement to know when the output is not good enough to send
- Experience with a sales execution platform such as Outreach or Sales loft, a CRM such as Salesforce, and a data platform such as ZoomInfo or equivalent
- Self-motivated and organised, with the daily discipline to sustain activity without being chased
- Curiosity about a technical space, and the appetite to learn enough about enterprise architecture to recognise a real problem
- Fluent English is essential. Additional European languages are a plus
