Role: SDR / Business Development Representative
Client:
Senior engineer led technology consultancy
Compensation:
Competitive base plus commission
Model:
London, hybrid (2 to 3 days a week)
Role Overview:
We’re hiring on behalf of a fast-growing engineering consultancy that builds and modernises platforms for well-known UK banks, fintechs and regulated businesses. Every consultant is a senior engineer, and so far the business has grown entirely through referrals and relationships. They’re now building a dedicated outbound engine and want someone to own it. You’ll book meetings with CTOs and engineering leaders, work directly with the leadership team, and have real input into how outbound gets done.
What You’ll Do:
- Own all outreach behind two new campaigns launching this quarter
- Work a curated list of senior technology leaders already built in the CRM, with a strong focus on financial services
- Run omnichannel outreach across calls, LinkedIn and bespoke messaging, alongside marketing led campaigns
- Help fill and run invite-only roundtables for CTOs and senior tech leaders
- Represent the business externally and bring your own ideas on messaging, process and tooling

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
