Business Development Representative
The Opportunity
At Workhuman, we're on a mission to make work more human by helping organisations celebrate, connect, and empower their people. We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Sales team and play a key role in driving new business growth across the UK.
This is a remote role based in the United Kingdom. You'll generate and qualify new business opportunities through a combination of inbound lead management and proactive outbound prospecting, partner closely with our Enterprise Sales team, and help organisations discover how Workhuman's recognition solutions can transform employee engagement and workplace culture.

What you bring
- 12 months experience in an Inside Sales, Sales Development, or Business Development role.
- Experience generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
- Experience qualifying inbound marketing leads and building a strong sales pipeline.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging senior decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform to manage pipeline activity and customer information.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach, positive attitude, and passion for achieving results and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience selling into enterprise organisations, particularly within SaaS, HR technology, or professional services, would be an advantage.

Your achievements
- You've consistently met or exceeded individual sales development or pipeline generation targets.
- You've successfully generated qualified meetings through inbound lead qualification and proactive outbound prospecting.
- You've partnered with Enterprise Sales and Marketing teams to build pipeline and support territory growth.
- You've maintained accurate customer and opportunity data within Salesforce while contributing to effective pipeline management.
- You've demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities and continuously improving your sales skills.
