About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing commercial team.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is motivated, curious, and interested in building a career in technology sales. As an SDR, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and engaging potential clients.
You will work closely with our senior sales and consulting teams to open conversations with organisations that are looking to modernise their data platforms and analytics capabilities.

This role provides a strong foundation for progressing into Account Executive or Account Management positions within the company.
What you'll do
- Research target organisations and identify potential opportunities where Billigence can support data and analytics initiatives
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to understand client challenges, priorities, and potential fit
- Schedule discovery meetings and introductions for senior members of the sales team
- Engage with key stakeholders across data, analytics, and technology teams to build early relationships
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity and opportunity records within the CRM system
- Work closely with the Senior Account Manager to support pipeline development and identify new client opportunities
- Collaborate with consulting and sales teams to build a strong understanding of Billigence’s services and value proposition

What you'll need
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment
- Genuine interest in technology, data, and consulting services
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities
- Ability to research companies, identify potential opportunities, and tailor outreach accordingly
- Resilient mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve
- Previous experience in sales, recruitment, business development, or other customer-facing roles is beneficial but not essential
