BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Must be based in NI)
If you are looking for a role where you can genuinely own the sales cycle, build new markets and have direct influence on commercial growth, this is worth a look.
We are working with an established B2B technology business that is investing in the next stage of its growth across the UK.
The company provides a mix of established technology solutions alongside newer digital products designed to help organisations improve visibility, efficiency and decision-making across their operations.
It is a relatively lean commercial team, so this is not a role where you will be one salesperson among dozens. You will have autonomy, access to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape how new business is developed.
The role
This is a full-cycle business development position focused primarily on winning and developing customers across the UK.
- You will take ownership of opportunities from initial prospecting and discovery through to proposal, negotiation, close and ongoing account development.
- The proposition is broader than a single SaaS product or service. You will be able to sell across an established technology offering while also introducing customers to newer solutions aimed at solving operational and commercial challenges.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Why it's worth a look
- You are joining a business with an existing customer base and proven offering, rather than being expected to sell something entirely from scratch.
- At the same time, there is significant scope to open new accounts, develop new markets and help grow newer areas of the business.
- The structure is deliberately lean, meaning strong performance will be visible and you will have genuine input into sales strategy, targeting and how the company approaches new markets.
What you'll be doing
- Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close.
- Build new relationships with organisations across a range of commercial and operational sectors.
- Run consultative discovery conversations to understand customer challenges before positioning the appropriate solution.
- Develop existing accounts alongside new business activity.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline through outbound activity, referrals, inbound opportunities and partner relationships.
- Maintain accurate CRM information, forecasting and sales activity reporting.
- Work closely with senior leadership on target markets, opportunities and wider commercial strategy.
