๐ข The Role
The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating sales leads, and supporting the growth objectives of the business. The role focuses on proactive outbound activity, relationship building, and creating opportunities for the wider sales team to convert into revenue.

๐ง What Youโll Be Doing
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn engagement, networking, and other prospecting activities.
- Research and identify prospective customers across target markets and sectors.
- Manage a group of customers.
- Qualify leads against defined criteria and accurately record information within the CRM system.
- Nurture a set of current accounts and arrange meetings for Account Managers when needed.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers.
- Develop an understanding of company products and services to effectively communicate value propositions.
- Manage and follow up marketing-generated leads promptly and effectively.
- Maintain regular contact with prospects through structured nurture campaigns.
- Ensure all customer and prospect information is accurate and up to date within company systems.
- Achieve individual activity and performance targets including calls, meetings booked, opportunities created, and revenue contribution.
- Work collaboratively with Account Managers, Marketing, and other departments to maximise business opportunities.

- Previous experience in a sales, customer service, or business development environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- Ability to build rapport and establish relationships quickly.

- Experience using CRM systems.
- Experience in B2B sales.
- Experience of outbound prospecting.
