We’re currently working with an established organisation operating within a professional, project-led environment that is looking to appoint a Business Development Researcher & Analyst to support its wider Business Development and Marketing functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys research, market intelligence, identifying new opportunities and maintaining high-quality business development information.

The Role

You’ll play an important role in supporting the Business Development team by researching potential opportunities, monitoring industry activity and ensuring that business development information is accurate, relevant and up to date.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring tender, bid and industry platforms to identify potential new opportunities and prospects.
  • Researching and sourcing relevant business development opportunities for the wider team.
  • Supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of business plans.
  • Maintaining accurate and high-quality information within the organisation’s CRM system.
  • Researching relevant industry news, developments and market information.
  • Supporting LinkedIn and other social media activity through research, content identification and information sharing.
  • Identifying relevant industry events, exhibitions, awards and networking opportunities.
  • Supporting the team at relevant events and exhibitions when required.
  • Working closely with Business Development Managers and wider stakeholders to support work-winning activity.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement across business development processes and research activity.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is research-driven, organised and commercially aware, with the ability to identify useful information and turn it into actionable business development opportunities.

You’ll ideally have experience in areas such as:
