Reliance Medical are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the continued success and growth of the business.
Role Title: Business Development Sales Executive – First Aid Sales
Position Details:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, office-based position.
- Focuses on growing the first aid product range by strengthening existing customer relationships and exploring sales opportunities.
Position Overview:
- Drive growth of the first aid product range by leveraging existing relationships within spending accounts and expanding into new opportunities with non-spending accounts.
- Daily internal communication is essential for aligning sales activity, uncovering new opportunities, and ensuring a consistent and proactive approach to account management.
- Four hours of internal calls each day, Monday to Friday, are required.
Call Windows:
- Morning: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM - 10 calls
- Afternoon: 1:30 PM – 3 PM - 10 calls
Call Focus:
- Engage with spending accounts to explore upsell, cross-sell, and build relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Reconnect with non-spending or dormant accounts to uncover new needs and reintroduce the first aid offering.
- Each account on your list must have at least one meaningful conversation per month, with activity recorded and tracked in the CRM (Hubspot).

Key Responsibilities:
Account Development:
- Build on existing client relationships to identify and pursue opportunities for first aid product sales.
- Become the first point of contact for clients.
- Liaise with customer service and Sales to ensure excellent standard of service.
- Ensure the customer is buying everything they require from Reliance Medical and not from competition.
New Business Activity:
- Generate and follow up on new leads, including inbound interest and outbound prospecting.
Represent the First Aid Category in Discovery Calls:
- Act as the subject matter expert for first aid products during client discovery meetings.
- Lead conversations to uncover client needs related to workplace safety, compliance, and emergency preparedness.
- Confidently articulate the benefits and applications of first aid offerings, aligning them with customer requirements.
- Identify gaps in the client's current first aid provision and propose tailored solutions from the product range.

Sales Performance:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by Sales Director (JT).
- Ensure all monthly calls are completed for all accounts assigned to you.
- Maintain clear records of activity and opportunities in Hubspot. This will be monitored monthly.
- Prepare compelling quotes and proposals with support from the sales admin and product teams.
Collaboration & Category Expertise:
- Stay informed on industry trends and product updates to serve as an internal champion for the category.
- Share insights from fact-finding to help shape future offerings and customer engagement strategies.
