About Latest In Beauty
Latest in Beauty is a leading online beauty platform and beauty box business, founded in 2008. Latest in Beauty provides its customers with a destination to access and trial the latest beauty brands and products; offering one off, on trend and topical limited edition beauty boxes. We work with media partners, industry leaders and media houses as well as TIKTOK. We work with over 500 brands a year and launch around 30 beauty boxes. Each box contains brands and products relevant to the theme. (go here). Providing our brand partners with industry leading content and trial campaigns across our digital platforms and TIKTOK shop.
The Role
We’re looking for a Business Development Executive (maternity cover) to join our Business Development Sales team on a 12 month maternity contract.
This is a hands-on sales and business development role, focused on bringing new and existing beauty brands into our campaigns and securing the products and partnerships needed across our busy calendar of beauty boxes.
You’ll manage your own portfolio of brand relationships while also identifying and developing new opportunities. You’ll be responsible for selling the LiB proposition, building relationships with key contacts, negotiating contributions and product support, and taking opportunities through from initial outreach to confirmation.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Business Development and wider team to ensure every campaign has a strong, relevant and exciting brand mix.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain an existing list of brand relationships
- Sell the Latest in Beauty concept and partnership opportunities to beauty and cosmetics brands, both current and potential clients.
- Utilise all communications options including email, phone, linkedin, etc
- Create (emails)
- Updating new and changing contacts in real time is crucial
- Negotiate product contributions, quantities, SKUS, commercial terms and partnership opportunities to achieve the best possible outcome for LIB.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, partners
- Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure, and maintain accurate sales records and reports.
- Maintain accurate timely updates of interest/decline and reasons
- Provide timely and accurate updates forecasts to Head of BD
- Secure a 3rd of all products across the team
- Ensure products presented are on theme and relevant for each campaign.
The Candidate/Experience
- 1>3 years relevant sales experience minimum
- A track record of achieving or working towards sales targets.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to juggle multiple campaigns, deadlines and conversations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a self-starter mentality
- Strong organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
- Knowledge of the beauty industry and competitive landscape and a passion for beauty and cosmetic products is beneficial
- Bachelor's degree in relevant area is preferred
