Role Description
The Business Development Sales Professional is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing relationships. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Identifying and qualifying prospects
- Conducting outreach via calls, emails, and virtual meetings
- Presenting Baker Ing’s services to decision-makers
- Preparing proposals

The Business Development Sales Professional will:
- Track sales activities in CRM tools
- Analyze market trends
- Provide feedback on client needs to support continuous improvement of offerings
This role requires consistent follow-up, pipeline management, and meeting or exceeding sales targets while upholding Baker Ing’s service standards.
Qualifications
- Strong business development, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills for B2B environments.
- Experience in sales cycle management, including prospecting, lead qualification, proposal development, and closing deals.
- Knowledge of receivables management, credit control, or financial services, with the ability to understand complex client needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in a professional setting.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting, and basic data analysis to manage pipeline and forecast results.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Comfort working across different time zones and with international clients; additional languages are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in a target-driven sales role; experience in collections, legal services, or credit management is a plus.
