Business Development Manager | Digital Media & Marketing | London - £50,000
I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity with a global digital media and marketing agency that is growing its UK and European New Business function.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 3–5 years’ experience who enjoys New Business, pitches, and client development, but doesn’t want a traditional, target-heavy sales role.
The Role
Working closely with the MD and senior leadership team, you’ll play a key role in supporting new client acquisition across the UK and Europe.
The role will involve:
- Managing and developing the UK and European sales pipeline
- Supporting senior stakeholders across new business opportunities
- Researching prospective clients and coordinating outreach
- Joining prospect meetings and managing follow-ups
- Identifying and managing RFI and RFP opportunities
- Coordinating pitch processes from start to finish
- Supporting pitch decks, proposals, and client-facing materials
- Working with internal teams to ensure pitches are commercially viable and delivered on time
- Creating tailored sales collateral and working with Marketing on external content
- Building relationships with intermediaries and media consultants

- 3–5 years’ experience within a digital media, marketing, or agency environment
- Exposure to New Business, Growth, pitches, RFPs, or client development
- A good understanding of the digital media ecosystem
- Strong written and communication skills
- Experience producing client-facing decks and proposals
- Excellent organization and project management skills
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness
Agency or holding company experience would be particularly relevant.
