UK Defence Market Representative – MoD, Government, and Security Sales
MBI are currently partnered with a European defence company specialising in various protection solutions. With a strong track record supplying European governments and a growing ambition to expand across the UK, they are looking for someone who already has the relationships to make an immediate impact.
Do you have an active network within UK MOD procurement? If you have spent years building trusted relationships with UK Ministry of Defence procurement teams, NSPA, or senior military stakeholders, this could be the opportunity you have been looking for. Our client does not need someone to build a network from scratch. They need someone who can walk in from day one and open doors.
The Role
Based in the Bristol area, you will represent our client across the UK defence and security market. This is a long term, relationship led commercial role where your existing network will be your most valuable asset. You will identify and influence opportunities ahead of tender publication, manage key stakeholder relationships, and drive growth across MOD, law enforcement, and private security channels.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
