Business Development Specialist - Chelmsford

Eurobase People is growing, and we’re looking for a Business Development Specialist to join our team in Chelmsford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the winning side of recruitment - identifying new opportunities, opening doors, building relationships, and creating new business across the UK and European Tech markets.

You’ll work closely with our recruitment teams to generate new opportunities, introduce Eurobase People to prospective clients, and help turn those conversations into long term partnerships.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify, research and target prospective clients across the UK and European Tech markets
  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, LinkedIn, email and networking
  • Build and manage a strong BD pipeline
  • Open new client accounts and develop relationships with key decision makers
  • Arrange and attend client meetings to introduce Eurobase People and our recruitment solutions
  • Work closely with 360 Recruitment Consultants and Delivery Consultants to understand client requirements and generate opportunities
  • Represent the Eurobase People brand and position us as a trusted recruitment partner
  • Keep up to date with market trends, identifying new sectors, clients and opportunities
  • Work alongside Marketing on campaigns and initiatives to generate new business
  • Share market intelligence and new opportunities across the business

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in Business Development, Sales or Recruitment
  • Ideally experience within Tech / IT recruitment, but we’re open to strong BD professionals from other sectors
  • Confident making outbound calls and approaching new prospects
  • Commercially minded with a genuine passion for winning new business
  • A strong communicator who can build relationships at all levels
  • Resilient, ambitious and motivated by targets
  • Someone who enjoys working collaboratively but is also confident working independently
  • A proactive mindset with the drive to create opportunities rather than wait for them
