About Ecosurety
Ecosurety exists to rid the world of unnecessary packaging.
We believe in a future where every brand has the data and market insights to make smart, sustainable packaging decisions. To make that vision a reality, we enable the world's leading brands to make smart and sustainable packaging decisions through our intelligence platform and deep regulatory expertise.
We're at an exciting stage of growth, expanding our capabilities, investing in technology and developing new ways to support customers through an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
With around 100 colleagues and ambitious plans for the future, we're building a business where talented people can do meaningful work, challenge convention and create real-world impact.
The Opportunity
Help more businesses navigate one of the biggest regulatory changes in packaging.
Packaging legislation is changing rapidly.
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Plastic Packaging Tax, Recyclability Assessment Methodology (RAM), Deposit Return Schemes and future regulations such as PPWR are creating new challenges for businesses across the UK.
At Ecosurety, we help organisations understand these changes, remain compliant and make smarter, more sustainable packaging decisions.
To support our continued growth, we're looking for a Business Development Specialist to help us connect with more organisations that can benefit from our expertise.
This role sits at the very front of the customer journey. You'll identify potential clients, start meaningful conversations, uncover challenges and create high-quality opportunities for our commercial teams.
If you enjoy speaking with people, understanding how businesses operate and opening doors to new opportunities, this role offers the chance to develop your commercial career whilst contributing to work that makes a genuine environmental impact.
Why Join Now?
The packaging sector is undergoing significant transformation, creating growing demand for expert guidance and support.
As Ecosurety continues to expand its services and technology offering, we're investing heavily in how we engage with prospective clients and build long-term partnerships.
You'll join at a point where there is real opportunity to make an impact, develop your skills and help shape how a purpose-led organisation grows.
This isn't a role where you'll simply work through a list of leads. You'll become an important voice in how we understand our market, identify opportunities and support future growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
