About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious, proactive, and field-oriented Business Development Specialist to drive offline retail growth across the Outdoor, Hunting, and Bird-watching sectors. In this role, you will lead end-to-end channel development, mapping retail landscapes and acquiring high-potential stores.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Expansion & Market Mapping
- Market Mapping & Assessment: Conduct thorough field research across target regions to systematically map offline retail store landscapes, assess store conditions, foot traffic, product portfolios.
- Store Prospecting & Acquisition: Proactively identify, pitch, negotiate, and onboard qualified retail partners.
- Voice of Sales (VoS) Channel: Serve as the strategic bridge between the front-line retail market and headquarters by continuously capturing and reporting front-line market intelligence and moves.

- Hands-on Partner Incubation: Provide deep, hands-on operational coaching and incubation for newly onboarded stores during their ramp-up phase, ensuring a seamless start.
- Independent Ordering Capability: Guide and train store owners and inventory managers to independently place, manage, and reconcile replenishment orders through digital self-service platforms.
- Value-Added Services (VAS) Adoption: Educate and coach retail partners to fully adopt and leverage value-added service packages, loyalty offerings, and extended support services to maximize store revenue.
- Voice of Partner (VoP) Mechanism: Institutionalize a reliable feedback loop to capture partner voice, store challenges, and product recommendations, funneling actionable insights back to internal product, marketing, and operations teams.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Industry Expertise: Demonstrated domain expertise and sharp market insights within Outdoor, Hunting, and Bird-watching sectors, optical equipment, or premium consumer outdoor gear.
- Channel Resources: Proven track record in B2B channel sales and offline retail development with an established network of retail client resources and buyer connections.
- Digital Tool Proficiency & Coaching: Highly proficient in leveraging CRM systems, Lark (Feishu), and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms for pipeline tracking and data-driven decision-making, with the demonstrated ability to coach external partners in tool adoption.
- Consultative Mindset & Negotiation: Strong consultative selling capabilities, business acumen, and interpersonal influence to negotiate win-win commercial terms with independent store proprietors.
- Work Ethic: Self-starter, results-oriented, adaptable to frequent field travel, and dedicated to transparent reporting and data integrity.
