Job Description

Business Development Support Representative

Location: UK

Function: Growth Office

Are you looking to build a career in sales within a global, AI-enabled organization? GP Strategies is seeking a Business Development Support Representative to join our Growth Office and play a key role in driving pipeline creation and supporting commercial growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who is eager to develop strong business development skills, gain exposure to modern sales methodologies, and learn from experienced commercial leaders.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct outbound prospecting across target accounts and market segments.
  • Research organizations and identify potential opportunities aligned with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Qualify leads and secure meetings that contribute to pipeline growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including activities, account insights, and follow-up actions.
  • Utilize approved AI and digital tools to enhance research, outreach preparation, and productivity.
  • Apply structured sales processes, qualification standards, and prospecting best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director, Business Development and broader commercial teams.
  • Learn through coaching, feedback, and hands-on experience within the OneGP sales architecture.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in sales, business development, lead generation, customer service, or another commercial environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfort working with CRM systems and structured workflows.
  • Strong research, organization, and prioritization capabilities.
  • Digital fluency, including an interest in leveraging AI and productivity tools.
  • A growth mindset, resilience, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
