Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Team Lead (Cloud & AI) to drive business growth in the UK market, with a strong focus on Cloud, Generative AI, LLM, and MaaS solutions.

The ideal candidate should combine strong enterprise sales capabilities with people management experience and remain actively involved in direct sales and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a business development/sales team focused on Cloud and AI solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand enterprise customer adoption.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Cloud, GenAI, LLM, and MaaS solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers and key decision-makers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, solution positioning, commercial negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Coach and support sales team members to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Collaborate closely with solution architects, product teams, marketing teams, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Personally contribute to strategic customer acquisition and key account development while carrying sales targets.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Around 3 years of sales experience in GenAI, LLM, or MaaS solutions; OR 5+ years of Cloud sales experience.
  • Candidates with direct GenAI / LLM / MaaS sales experience are strongly preferred.
  • Proven people management / sales team management experience.
  • The candidate must have directly carried an individual sales quota within the past 1–2 years.
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong experience in enterprise / B2B sales and complex solution selling.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in London.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, Generative AI, LLM, or MaaS solutions.
  • Experience selling Cloud or AI solutions to large enterprise customers.
  • Existing enterprise customer network within the UK or European market.
  • Experience working with hyperscalers, Cloud providers, AI companies, SaaS companies, or enterprise technology vendors.
  • Experience managing both team performance and strategic enterprise accounts.
