The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing the Business Development Representative team to achieve lead generation and business growth objectives. The role combines hands-on business development activity with people leadership, performance management, and process improvement.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of BDRs to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Deliver personal lead generation activity and contribute to team targets.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and Sales Leadership to align prospecting efforts with business priorities.
  • Support strategic account targeting and market penetration initiatives.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Produce regular management reports on team performance, pipeline generation, and conversion metrics.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support business strategy.

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in business development, lead generation, or sales.
  • Previous experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
  • Strong commercial awareness and sales acumen.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Experience managing a sales development or business development team.
  • Experience delivering sales training or coaching.
  • Industry knowledge.
