You will work on site with our Birmingham commercial team, learning how customer relationships are built, how campaigns grow and how business performance is measured. It is hands-on, it is supportive, and it is designed to develop people who want to go somewhere.
What you will be learning
Structured training across the core areas of business development and management:
- Customer acquisition and relationship building
- Commercial communication and professional brand representation
- Sales strategy and campaign development
- Negotiation, presentation and influencing skills
- Performance tracking and hitting business targets

- Team operations and daily campaign management

The role includes representing established brands through face-to-face customer engagement, so you will learn how to read customer needs, communicate value clearly and contribute directly to commercial growth. As you progress, you may support newer team members, help shape campaign planning and take on more responsibility across the business.
Who we are looking for
This could suit a graduate, a career starter, or someone stepping across from hospitality, retail, customer service, sport or any people-focused role. You should be:
- Based in Birmingham or able to commute reliably into the city centre
- Genuinely interested in business development, management, sales or leadership
- Comfortable talking to people and building professional relationships
- Motivated by clear goals and personal progress
- Open to coaching and feedback
- Organised, reliable and a strong team player
- Ready to commit to a full-time, on-site role

Development and salary
The starting salary is £25,000. As your skills grow and you take on more, your earnings can grow with you, with progression to £45,000 within the first year based on your performance and responsibility. Potential routes include Business Development Executive, Client Account Management, Campaign Management, Team Leadership, Learning and Development, and Business Operations. Progression here is earned through ability and contribution, not time served.
