Client Business Director, Automotive & Entertainment - Award-winning Media Agency (12-month Contract)
Location: Central London / Hybrid
This is a 12-month contract with a November start preferred.
We’re working with an award-winning international media agency looking for an experienced Client Business Director to join its Client Leadership team and take a senior role on 2 of its largest clients - across automotive and entertainment.
The opportunity
You’ll take a leading role in managing established UK client accounts, combining senior relationship management with responsibility for campaign delivery and commercial performance.
Working alongside specialists across planning, activation and measurement, you’ll turn business objectives into effective media campaigns, strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead senior client relationships, building trust and understanding clients’ business objectives
- Oversee media planning, buying and measurement across all media channels (digital and traditional).
- Coordinate simultaneous campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and consistently high standards
- Develop measurement frameworks that demonstrate effectiveness and inform future planning
- Manage budgets and profitability, identifying opportunities to grow client relationships
- Contribute to new business pitches with strategic thinking and commercially sound recommendations

What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in a client-facing role at a media agency, ideally with automotive or entertainment clients.
- Broad knowledge of all media channels and experience delivering integrated campaigns
- Proven experience managing senior clients and stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management capabilities
- Experience managing and leading a team
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple omnichannel campaigns
- A strong grasp of effectiveness principles and confidence developing measurement frameworks
- A proactive approach, growth mindset and collaborative working style
- You’re likely currently working as a Client Account Director, Senior Account Director or Business Director, or in a similar client leadership role within a media agency.
