Who we are
Kurppa Hosk is a brand agency built for decisive moments. Across Europe and the U.S., our team of 220+ partner with companies at the moments that define them, when clarity is essential, and compromise is costly. Working closely with leaders, we help turn bold decisions into confident brands that stand out far from the middle to create momentum and drive demand. From early-stage startups to some of the world’s most admired companies, we work with brave organizations and are proud to count brands like On, Zalando, Electrolux, Scania, H&M, Nike, Estée Lauder, Meta, Snap, Minecraft, Spotify and Heart Aerospace among our clients.
Kurppa Hosk is a founding member of the Eidra Group, a consulting collective where we partner closely with our sister agencies, like Above (innovation), Eidra Consulting (management consulting), Curamando (digital marketing), and Umain (digital products), among others.
As we launch and build Kurppa Hosk in the UK, we're looking for a Business Director to be one of the founding members of our London team, shaping not just the work, but the culture and standards of the studio from day one.
The opportunity
As Business Director, you are the driving commercial force behind Kurppa Hosk's growth in the UK. You work hand-in-hand with our founding UK team and report into Kurppa Hosk’s leadership team, with a mandate that spans both new business and the growth of existing accounts both in the UK and globally.
You're entrepreneurial by nature and energized by the challenge of building something from scratch. You open doors, build trust with senior stakeholders, and know how to turn a first conversation into a lasting, profitable relationship. At the same time, you partner closely with our strategy and creative leads, ensuring every client relationship you build is backed by work that lives up to it. You enjoy collaborating across Kurppa Hosk’s disciplines and Eidra’s companies, and you actively contribute to a strong, unified culture across both.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The ideal person
You're a commercially-minded relationship builder with a track record of winning and growing client business in a comparable industry - brand, creative, or consulting. You're comfortable operating without a fully built playbook, and you see that as an opportunity rather than a risk. You build trust quickly and authentically, and you're just as motivated by long-term account growth as by the thrill of a new win. You collaborate naturally with strategists and creatives, understanding that your job is to open and grow the relationship. You bring a strong UK and global network and market understanding, balanced with an appreciation for Kurppa Hosk's Nordic roots and the wider Eidra collective.
