Role Description
The Business & Economics Online Teacher (Remote) will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in Business Economics and Economics to secondary-level students in a virtual classroom environment.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Preparing lesson plans and instructional materials
- Teaching live online classes
- Facilitating interactive learning
- Assessing student progress through assignments, tests, and feedback

The teacher will:

- Collaborate with academic staff to refine course content
- Participate in virtual meetings
- Maintain clear communication with students and parents regarding performance and expectations
This is offered as either a full-time or part-time (splitting the post) remote role that requires:
- Reliable online presence
- Adherence to scheduled teaching hours
- Proactive involvement in continuous improvement of the learning experience
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in Business and Economics, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and accessibly.
- Demonstrated skills in Teaching and Education, including classroom management in an online environment and learner-centered instruction.
- Competence in Lesson Planning, curriculum alignment, and designing assessments that support diverse learning needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Education, or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching secondary-level students, ideally within the English National Curriculum or similar international frameworks.
- Comfort with educational technology, including learning management systems and Microsoft Teams for Schools.
- Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to inclusive, student-focused teaching.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage teaching schedules, and adapt to innovative pedagogical methods.
