Go Forth Stirling BID
Location: Stirling (office and city centre based)
Hours: Full-time or Part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
Salary: Dependent on experience
This isn't a desk job.
We're looking for someone who enjoys getting out and meeting people. You'll spend most of your time visiting businesses across Stirling, building relationships, promoting Go Forth Stirling's services and helping prepare for our 2027 Business Improvement District (BID) renewal ballot. If you're looking for a remote or office-based role, this probably isn't the right opportunity.
About the Role
Over the next 10 months Go Forth Stirling will deliver one of its biggest programmes of business engagement to date. We'll be launching the new In Stirling app and Digital Town Hub, expanding business services, supporting city centre initiatives and preparing for our 2027 BID renewal ballot.
Your role is simple: Make sure every business knows who we are, understands what we do and gets the maximum benefit from being part of Go Forth Stirling.
You'll spend your time:
- Visiting businesses across Stirling.
- Building relationships with owners and senior managers.
- Promoting the In Stirling app and helping businesses maximise its benefits.
- Encouraging businesses to upload offers, events, vacancies and promotions.
- Explaining BID services and encouraging participation.
- Gathering business feedback and identifying issues and opportunities.
- Promoting training, networking events and business support.
- Working with partners across the city.
- Finding business stories for marketing and social media.
- Supporting events and projects where required.

- Can build trust and credibility quickly.
- Is self-motivated and highly organised.
- Is comfortable working independently.
- Doesn't need close supervision or day-to-day management.
- Enjoys being out meeting people rather than sitting behind a desk.
- Can manage their own diary and workload.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Takes pride in representing an organisation professionally.

Essential Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Working at Go Forth Stirling
We're a small, ambitious organisation with big plans. This role offers genuine autonomy and variety, but it also requires someone who is proactive, dependable and committed. You'll often be working independently, managing your own schedule and acting as one of the public faces of Go Forth Stirling.
This is an office and city centre-based role. Remote working is not available.
