Company Description

Blulotus is a finance transformation consultancy focused on helping growth-oriented businesses build scalable, high-performing finance functions. The firm works closely with CFOs, finance leaders, and executive teams to resolve challenges such as slow financial close, unreliable reporting, constrained cash flow, stalled ERP programs, and poorly integrated acquisitions.

Blulotus combines deep finance expertise with technology delivery, program leadership, and change management to design and implement practical solutions. The team remains closely engaged throughout implementation, ensuring that changes are embedded in day-to-day operations and clients are supported at every step.

Role Description

The Business Finance Consultant is a full-time role responsible for advising clients on how to improve their finance processes, systems, and organizational effectiveness. Day-to-day activities include analyzing financial data and workflows, identifying performance gaps, designing improved processes and controls, and supporting the implementation of new tools and operating models.

The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ERP and finance system initiatives, integration projects, and cash and working capital optimization. This is a hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a mix of on-site client work and some work from home.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data to generate clear insights and recommendations.
  • Consulting and Management Consulting experience, including client-facing work, problem-solving, and delivery of structured improvement initiatives.
  • Solid Finance and Accounting knowledge, ideally with experience in corporate finance, controllership, FP&A, or transaction-related work.
  • Experience working with or within finance transformation programs, ERP implementations, reporting improvements, or integration projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with CFOs, finance teams, and executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and deliver high-quality work in dynamic environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, MBA) are an advantage.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility to spend time at client sites as needed.
