A specialist boutique law firm is hiring a Business Growth Manager

In a newly created role as part of its investment in building out the team. This is an excellent opportunity to join at a pivotal growth stage and help shape how the firm wins and develops work.

The Role

Working closely with the Chief Strategy and Growth officer, partners, and Growth team, you will drive revenue through execution of Business Growth Plans for M&A (buy-and sell-side), Private Equity and Tax.

This is a lean team, so the role is hands on and operational, with real ownership and visibility across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with partners to turn growth plans into action, spotting and nurturing opportunities to deepen existing client relationships and win new ones.
  • Bring teams and practice areas together so clients experience the breadth of the firm's expertise as one connected service.
  • Become the first port of call for lawyers looking for growth support, managing each request end to end from initial brief through to delivery.
  • Take ownership of proposals, credentials, and capability documents, making sure everything reflects the firm's current strengths and wins.
  • Work closely with the CSGO and partners to deliver the firm's annual growth strategy and campaigns.
  • Use CRM and the firm's AI tools to map out ideal client profiles, segment audiences, and build outreach campaigns that land with the right people.
  • Coordinate and manage the firms annual directory and awards submissions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
