About the Role
We are working with a highly regarded independent London law firm seeking a Paralegal to join its five-person Immigration team. You’ll work closely with the Head of Department, supporting a caseload that is approximately 80% business immigration and 20% private immigration.
The firm advises UK and international businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals on matters that often cross borders. Its immigration practice is recognised in The Legal 500 for both business and personal immigration, making this an opportunity to learn from experienced lawyers while working on varied, high-quality instructions.

Responsibilities
The work will include:
- Supporting the Head of Department with day-to-day case management and client correspondence.
- Preparing and coordinating business immigration applications, including sponsor licence and work visa matters.
- Assisting with sponsor compliance work and gathering the documents needed for applications and advice.
- Helping with private immigration matters, including family, settlement, and nationality applications.
- Liaising with clients, checking documents, and keeping matters moving to deadline.

The team’s work spans sponsor licensing, Skilled Worker and Global Business Mobility routes, compliance, and a range of personal immigration applications.
Ideal Candidate
This could suit a Paralegal with immigration experience who enjoys detailed work, takes ownership of their tasks, and communicates confidently with clients. You’ll be joining a close-knit specialist team within a firm with the resources and client base to offer exposure well beyond routine applications.
