BI Analyst (Tableau)

£47,500
Liverpool (mostly remote, with the odd office visit)

TrustTech Recruitment are working with a well-established not-for-profit organisation that is looking to appoint a BI Analyst to join its growing data and analytics function. As a BI Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming complex data into meaningful business insights, helping teams make informed decisions that support strategic objectives and improve organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Tableau.
  • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities and business insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand reporting requirements and deliver valuable recommendations.
  • Present technical findings in a clear and accessible way to non-technical audiences.
  • Support data quality, governance and compliance standards across reporting activities.
  • Assist with continuous improvements to reporting processes and business intelligence capabilities.

Key Skills Required:

  • Expertise in Tableau is essential with proven experience designing interactive dashboards and visualisations.
  • Previous experience in a BI Analyst or similar Business Intelligence position.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience interpreting complex datasets.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Understanding of data governance, integrity and best practices.

The BI Analyst role is perfect for someone looking to further develop their skills within a highly respected organisation that is making a real difference to local communities. The company is offering a competitive salary, generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities and employee wellbeing initiatives. This is a primarily remote position with occasional travel to the Liverpool area as required.

This BI Analyst opportunity is initially offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. Working a 35 hour working week.
