We're excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst within our IT team based in Halesowen.
About the Role:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, insightful reporting that supports business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and datasets across platforms including Power BI, Birst, Phocas, and Snowflake.
- Investigate reporting issues, validate data accuracy, and drive continuous improvements in data quality.
- Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, support testing and change initiatives, and provide expert guidance to ensure reporting solutions are trusted, accessible, and fit for purpose.

What We’re Looking For in Our Business Intelligence Analyst:
- Experience supporting BI, reporting, dashboards, datasets, or analytical outputs in a business environment, ideally using tools such as Phocas, Birst, Power BI, Snowflake, or similar reporting platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to checking figures, filters, calculations, date ranges, source data, permissions, assumptions, and outputs.
- Ability to investigate data or reporting issues using a structured, evidence-based approach.
- Confidence in gathering requirements and translating business needs into clear reporting outputs or support actions.
- A practical understanding of data quality, access control, reporting governance, and the importance of protecting confidential or sensitive information.
