BI Professional

We are looking for a highly capable and self-driven BI professional to join our growing Business Intelligence team, providing market, product, operational, commercial and financial insights for stakeholders across Trayport. As a core member of the BI team, you will be instrumental in transforming complex, often unstructured data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions.

You are a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and isn't afraid of "messy" data. More than just a technical expert, you act as a bridge between our data infrastructure and the wider business, seamlessly adapting your communication style to collaborate with both technical engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Analytics: Design, develop, and maintain interactive, high-performance dashboards and reports using Tableau.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships across departments, acting as a trusted data advisor to both technical teams and non-technical business leaders.
  • Data Storytelling: Extract meaning from messy, complex datasets and present clear, compelling visual narratives that guide executive decision-making.
  • Database Management: Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries within SQL Server and Snowflake environments to ensure efficient data extraction and processing.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Champion data governance best practices, ensuring high data literacy, accuracy, and security across the organization.
  • Automation & Scripting: Enhancing our analytical capabilities through automation, building data pipelines, and integrating APIs. Using AI tooling where appropriate, demonstrating an understanding of its strengths and limitations.
  • Code Management: Maintain clean, version-controlled code using Git/source control best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
