Business Intelligence Analyst - Facilities & Innovation
Business Intelligence Analyst - Facilities & Innovation will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing innovative technologies, digital solutions and business intelligence tools that improve operational performance, productivity, client experience and commercial value across ABM's facility services operations, with a particular focus on cleaning services.
This role combines hands-on business intelligence capability with broader innovation and transformation leadership. The postholder will work across Operations, Technology, Business Intelligence, Client Engagement and third-party partners to turn ideas and data into scalable, measurable solutions across one of ABM's major client accounts in London and across the UK.
The ideal candidate will bring strong Power BI and data analytics capability, alongside experience leading technology pilots, change initiatives and operational improvement projects within facilities management, workplace services or cleaning operations.
Main duties
- Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insight
- Build and maintain data models, including data cleaning, transformation and aggregation
- Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency and usability
- Translate data into practical recommendations that support operational performance and client outcomes
- Work with operational teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual activity
- Research opportunities across AI, automation, IoT, robotics, smart buildings and digital services
- Support the implementation of new tools, technology pilots and rollout activity
- Help turn improvement ideas into scalable solutions that increase productivity and service performance
- Support change, communication and user adoption when new tools or processes are introduced
- Use data to track adoption, performance and return on investment
- Provide user support and guidance on dashboards, reporting tools and best practice
- Maintain clear documentation for reports, dashboards and related solutions

What we're looking for
- Experience in business intelligence or data analytics, with strong Power BI capability
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query
- Experience with SQL, relational databases and data modelling
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Confidence working with stakeholders across operational and client-facing environments
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience in facilities management, workplace services, cleaning operations or a similar operational setting would be an advantage
It would be great if you also have
- Experience supporting innovation, transformation or process improvement initiatives
- Exposure to smart buildings, IoT, automation or digital services
- Experience helping implement new systems, tools or reporting solutions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools

Success in this role means delivering reporting and insight that helps teams make better decisions, improving operational visibility, reducing manual processes and supporting the adoption of smarter, more efficient ways of working across cleaning and wider facility services operations.
