Who are we?

Henderson Group is proud to be Northern Ireland’s leading foodservice provider and one of the region’s largest employers. Our group encompasses Henderson Wholesale, Henderson Retail, Henderson Foodservice and Henderson Group Property who work together to serve customers and communities across Northern Ireland, supported by more than 6,000 colleagues.

We're a family-owned team that cares about our people and the community in which we live. Our commitment to creating a positive place to work is reflected in our Investors in People Gold accreditation.

For those joining Henderson Group, this means being part of an organisation that values your contribution, supports your development and encourages you to build your skills, share ideas and grow your career.

A look into the role

Henderson Wholesale is a leading wholesaler in Northern Ireland, supplying goods to more than 450 stores across well-known brands including SPAR, EUROSPAR and VIVO.

Working at the heart of this network, our Wholesale Trading team helps ensure stores have the right products, at the right time, to meet the needs of their local customers. We source from local farmers, growers and producers and are proud to contribute to our local economy and environment.

Wholesale Trading is a fast-moving, commercially focused environment where decisions about product ranges, pricing, promotions, availability and performance influence stores across Northern Ireland.

The team works closely with colleagues across the wider business to respond to changing customer needs, support store performance and identify opportunities for growth. This gives you exposure to a broad wholesale operation and the chance to understand how commercial decisions move from data and insight into practical action.

The Purpose of the Role

As Data Analyst, you will help shape smarter commercial decisions across Henderson Wholesale by delivering trusted QlikSense solutions for our Trading teams. Working closely with stakeholders, you will translate business questions into meaningful analysis, helping colleagues understand performance, identify opportunities and act with confidence.

You will turn complex data into clear, actionable insight by creating intuitive dashboards, refining data models and strengthening reporting capabilities. Your work will support both day-to-day trading activity and longer-term strategic priorities, with clear visibility of its impact across the business.

This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with commercial curiosity, build strong relationships with the people who use your insights and deepen your understanding of wholesale trading. You will see how your work supports decisions across a large store network making data easier to understand and delivering practical improvements that colleagues can use.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
