BI Analyst | London | Hybrid
BI Analysts in London, this could be a really good one...
I’m currently recruiting for a BI Analyst to join a growing team in London, and I’m keen to start speaking to people who love getting stuck into data and, more importantly, turning it into something a business can actually use.
This isn’t just about producing report after report.
We’re looking for someone who can take a question, dig into the data and come back with real, meaningful insight. Someone who is naturally curious, commercially minded and interested in understanding the story behind the numbers.
There’s plenty to get involved with, from building and improving Power BI dashboards, working with SQL and analysing trends and performance, through to working directly with stakeholders across the business to understand what they actually need from their data.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You’ll have the opportunity to really get under the skin of the business, identify trends and opportunities, improve existing reporting and help make data more accessible and useful across the organisation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Power BI experience
- Good SQL skills
- Experience building dashboards, reports and visualisations
- A good understanding of data analysis and reporting
- Someone who enjoys spotting trends, patterns and opportunities within data
- Confidence working with stakeholders and understanding their requirements
- The ability to take complex information and turn it into clear, commercially useful insight
- Most importantly, someone who is curious and isn’t afraid to ask questions rather than simply accepting a reporting request at face value
Retail experience would definitely be useful, particularly if you’ve worked with sales, customer, product or commercial data, but it’s absolutely not essential.
