Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Manager
This leading UK FMCG organisation is seeking a commercially focused Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Manager to drive the organisation's reporting, insights and decision-support capabilities. You will be responsible for developing and embedding an effective analytics strategy, ensuring business leaders have access to meaningful, trusted and actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Analytics Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and maintain the organisational analytics and reporting strategy.
- Create a roadmap that improves access to insight across the business.
- Ensure reporting and analytics activities are aligned to strategic business objectives.
- Promote a data-driven decision-making culture at all levels of the organisation.
- Act as the senior business partner for analytics and business intelligence.
Stakeholder Engagement & Influencing
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders across the organisation.
- Partner with business functions to understand priorities, challenges and opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into actionable reporting and insight solutions.
- Challenge and influence stakeholders using data-driven recommendations.
- Facilitate discussions that drive alignment around KPIs and performance measures.
- Present insights and recommendations confidently to senior leadership teams.

Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise reporting solutions.
- Define reporting standards and best practices across the organisation.
- Drive adoption of self-service reporting capabilities in Power BI and Tableau.
- Ensure business users have access to accurate, timely and relevant information.
- Establish a consistent approach to KPI development and performance measurement.
- Oversee the development of executive dashboards and management information.
Insight Generation
- Lead the identification of trends, opportunities and risks across business operations.
- Drive deeper analytical capability to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Use data to provide actionable recommendations that improve business performance.
- Measure and communicate the impact of key business initiatives.
- Support strategic planning through insight-led analysis.
Analytics Team Leadership
- Lead, coach and develop a team of analysts and reporting professionals.
- Create a culture focused on curiosity, problem solving and business impact.
- Establish standards for insight generation, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Build analytical capability across the wider organisation.

Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and effectiveness.
- Simplify and rationalise existing reporting processes.
- Encourage greater business ownership of reporting and analytics.
- Drive innovation in reporting tools, visualisation techniques and analytical approaches.
Key Skills and Experience
- Significant experience leading Analytics, Business Intelligence or Reporting functions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders to drive business performance.
- Proven track record of delivering reporting and insight programmes.
- Experience managing and developing analytical teams.
- Strong understanding of KPI development and performance measurement frameworks.
- Experience with modern reporting and analytics platforms such as: Power BI, Tableau, Sigma and Snowflake.
- Passionate about developing analytical and self-service capability within teams.
