A leading global lifestyle brand's EMEA operation is hiring a Business Intelligence Developer to sit inside their Business Intelligence team and take real ownership of reporting and analytics across the UK Distribution Centre.

This isn't a remote dashboard-building role. You'll be embedded in the DC, working closely with warehouse, supply chain, finance and commercial stakeholders to understand what's actually happening on the ground and turn that into insight the business can act on. You'll pick up workload currently spread across the wider team during long-term absence and become the go-to analyst for DC performance.

Role: Power BI Developer / Analyst
Salary: Competitive
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire (typically 3 days in office, 2 at home)

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of Power BI dashboards and reporting for the UK Distribution Centre
  • Analyse data across AS400, Fabric, Manhattan Active WMS, SAP and financial systems to spot trends, risks, opportunities and root causes
  • Develop and maintain reporting and performance metrics across warehouse operations, inventory, transport, customer service, labour productivity, costs and budgets
  • Own data validation, modelling and quality across reporting solutions, keeping standards consistent across multiple business systems
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to automate reporting, enhance existing dashboards and make information more accessible
  • Partner with distribution, supply chain, finance, commercial and IT to prioritise reporting needs and deliver BI solutions that support real operational improvement
  • Present findings, insights and recommendations clearly to management stakeholders

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
