Job Title: Power BI Developer
Location: Canary Wharf, 3 days onsite per week
Contract Duration: 6 Months initially but up to 2 years for the right person!
Pay Rate: £416 Per Day Umbrella
Are you a talented Power BI Developer looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a dynamic environment? Our client, a prestigious financial institution in the heart of London, is seeking a passionate and driven professional to join their team on a long term contract. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are eager to make a significant impact, this role could be perfect for you!
Key Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong background demonstrating expertise in data visualisation and reporting.
- Proficient in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling within Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands on experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and Rest API knowledge desired
- Banking or regulated industry background desired

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Optimise existing Power BI reports and enhance data visualisation to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can drive strategic decision-making.
- Provide support and training to users on Power BI tools and best practises.
