Business Intelligence Developer
Location: Bristol City Centre (Office-based, 5 days per week)
Position: Permanent, Full-time
The Role
Are you a hands-on data professional who thrives on autonomy, loves getting into the details, and enjoys solving complex data puzzles?
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join an established Enterprise Data team in Bristol city centre. In this role, you will bridge the gap between raw transactional systems and business critical reporting, playing a key role as the business adopts modern data architectures.

We need a critical, creative thinker who takes complete ownership of their work—no hand-holding required. You should be someone who genuinely enjoys "working things out," balancing creative problem-solving with a strong respect for data governance and lineage.

Technical Toolkit:
- Core Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and DAX.
- Data Engineering: Proven ability to build, craft, and measure robust data models, macros, and reporting workflows.
- Modern Data & Cloud (Plus): Exposure to AWS or Lakehouse architectures is highly advantageous as the company scales its AWS footprint.
- Governance: Strong focus on data accuracy, quality, and structured data design over pure visual aesthetics.
