Role: BI Developer

Location: Warrington

Salary: £35,000-£45,000

A growing organisation is looking for a BI Developer to join its team, working across business intelligence, reporting and data solutions.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in SQL and database development, who is looking to build further experience across SSRS, Power BI and BI development.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, develop data solutions and help turn business data into clear, useful insights.

The Role:

  • Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and data structures.
  • Build and maintain SSRS and Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Support data modelling, ETL and SSIS processes.
  • Troubleshoot data, reporting and performance issues.
  • Work with stakeholders to deliver effective BI solutions.
  • Improve reporting processes, data quality and overall efficiency.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on SQL skills and a good understanding of relational databases.
  • Experience writing queries, stored procedures and working with data for reporting or analysis.
  • Experience with SSRS and report development.
  • Experience or exposure to Power BI, including dashboards and data visualisation.
  • A good understanding of data structures and the ability to optimise queries and processes.
  • Exposure to SSIS / ETL development.
