Contract Power BI Consultant

Leeds | 1-2 Days Per Week Onsite
6-Month Contract
£400-450pd OUTSIDE IR35
Immediate Start Available

We're looking for an experienced Power BI Consultant to join a growing data team on an initial 6-month contract.

This role has been created to support the integration of a new business-critical data source into the organisation's reporting and analytics environment. You'll take ownership of understanding the source system, working through the technical integration process, and building the reporting capability required by the business.

The successful candidate will be comfortable across both analytics and engineering functions. Whilst this is primarily a Power BI-focused role, you'll need a solid understanding of data engineering concepts and be confident working directly with source data, data pipelines, and technical stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
