Power BI Developer

Hybrid Working | Up to £38,000

We’re supporting a well-established business within the utilities sector as they continue investing in their internal data and reporting capability.

They’re looking for a Power BI Developer to join a growing team and play a key role in improving how data is used across the business, with a particular focus on finance reporting and business insights.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their BI career who wants to step into a role with genuine ownership, visibility and plenty of room to grow.

The Opportunity

The business is going through a significant shift towards more data-driven decision making, with a strong focus on improving reporting quality, consistency and accessibility.

As part of this journey, they’re bringing more BI capability in-house and separating reporting from the wider data engineering function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
