Job Details
Job Title: BI Developer (Tableau)
Job Type: Long term contract role with outside IR35
Location: London – 5 days/week
Required Skills and Experience
- 4–6 years of hands-on Tableau experience — complex dashboards, LOD expressions, calculated fields, and performance optimisation
- Strong SQL skills and experience connecting Tableau to diverse sources — relational databases and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Solid understanding of data modelling — star schema, data blending, and extract vs. live connections for scalable, performant dashboards
- Proven ability to translate complex and technical data, including ML model outputs, into clear business-friendly visual narratives
- Exposure to visualizing AI/ML outputs (predictions, confidence scores, anomaly flags) and familiarity with Tableau Server/Cloud or Python integration for advanced analytics

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards that surface insights from AI/ML models, knowledge graphs, and data pipelines for business stakeholders
- Work closely with AI/ML and Knowledge Engineers to understand model outputs and translate them into actionable, easy-to-consume visualizations
- Build and maintain well-structured data models as the single source of truth for reporting; collaborate with data engineers to resolve upstream data quality issues
- Gather stakeholder reporting requirements, define KPIs, iterate on designs based on feedback, and document dashboard logic and metric definitions for maintainability
