Salary: £38,500 - £46,000 per annum (Depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

Join William College as a Business Lecturer and be at the forefront of higher education innovation. The successful candidate will join a progressive team at William College and be involved in the delivery of our full-time Business degree course in partnership with Birkbeck, University of London.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality teaching and learning across our Business and Human Resource Management undergraduate degree, with a focus on teaching accounting and basic numeracy and mathematics skills.
• Offer appropriate support to students to enable them to achieve their goals and progress to positive destinations.
• Contribute to the development and continual improvement of courses, coordinating effectively with both staff and students.
• Plan and deliver subject-specific sessions in line with the learning outcomes and syllabuses of modules.
• Deploy assessments appropriately, as set out by the module specification from our partner institution.
• Ensure the learning needs of students on their modules are met.
• Support students with timely formative and summative feedback on their assessments.
• Ensure that all expectations of the Programme Specification of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities under which modules are being taught are met.
• Produce appropriate module evaluation reports.
• Communicate clearly and appropriately with students from diverse backgrounds.
