Role Description
The Business Lecturer – Part Time will design and deliver engaging business-focused training sessions to adult learners in an on-site setting located in Northampton. This part-time role involves:

- Preparing lesson plans and learning materials
- Teaching modules on topics such as business improvement, communication, and problem solving
- Facilitating cooperative learning activities
- Assessing learner progress through assignments, presentations, and practical exercises, providing constructive feedback to support skill development and performance improvement

Additional responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with colleagues to refine course content
- Aligning training with organizational objectives
- Maintaining accurate records of attendance and learner outcomes
The role requires a learner-centered approach that encourages participation, accountability, and real-world application of business concepts.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in business subjects such as process improvement, problem solving, communication, and team development.
- Experience in designing and delivering training or teaching, ideally within further education, corporate training, or professional development settings.
- Strong skills in facilitation, cooperative learning methodologies, and creating interactive, learner-centered sessions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accessibly.
- Relevant academic or professional qualification in Business, Management, Education, Training, or a related discipline.
- Ability to manage diverse groups of learners, support different learning styles, and promote a respectful, inclusive classroom environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills for planning sessions, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accurate learner records.
- Previous industry experience in business or operations improvement is highly beneficial.
