At Sandvik Mining, we're looking for an experienced commercial leader to take ownership of our Ground Support business across Northern Europe.
This is a high-impact leadership role with full accountability for business growth, profitability, market expansion, and customer success. You'll combine strategic thinking, technical expertise, and commercial acumen to strengthen Sandvik's market position and deliver sustainable growth across the region.
Working closely with customers, sales teams, and global stakeholders, you'll drive business performance, introduce innovative solutions, and help shape the future of Ground Support Division in one of the world's leading mining technology companies.
What You'll Do
Drive Growth & Business Performance
- Own the Ground Support business across Sales Area Northern Europe, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, and market share growth.
- Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with regional and global priorities.
- Identify new opportunities, expand customer penetration, and accelerate business performance.
- Lead the successful introduction of new products and technologies.

- Drive business development and growth initiatives across Northern Europe.
- Support Sales Managers and Key Account Managers in identifying and winning new business opportunities.
- Provide market, industry, and application expertise to the commercial organization.
- Participate in strategic customer meetings together with Sales Managers and KAMs.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop and deliver sales enablement, training, and best-practice sharing across the region.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Operations to execute regional growth plans.
- Represent the business in relevant industry forums and networks.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across Northern European markets.
Lead Technical & Commercial Excellence
- Provide expert guidance on Ground Support applications and solutions.
- Support product performance evaluations, audits, and technical improvement initiatives.
- Capture market insights and customer needs to support future innovation and product development.
Inspire High-Performing Teams
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Business Line team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner across functions and business lines to unlock growth opportunities and maximize customer value.

What You Bring
- 5 years of experience within mining, ground support, underground operations, industrial equipment, or a related industry.
- Proven success driving business growth, profitability, and customer engagement.
- Experience managing P&L responsibility and developing long-term business strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Technical understanding of Ground Support products and applications is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership in a matrix organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
